Mullion, a frameless browser window, is now available

We have released Mullion, a browser for macOS. It is open source under the MIT License.

You want to leave a video or a stream playing, and you get tabs and a bookmarks bar with it. Mullion opens a URL or a local file in a window with no visible browser UI at all — just the page. The navigation bar appears when you ask for it and gets out of the way again. It can run a script after the page loads, and it can live in the menu bar instead of the dock.

The name is the architectural term for the slender bar that divides a window into panes: the only part of a window you are meant not to notice.

It can also be installed through Homebrew.

brew install --cask cyberneura/tap/mullion
